Squadron Participates in Heart of Florida Airshow |

Members of Gainesville Composite Squadron participated in the Heart of Florida Airshow on April 14th and 15th. In addition to manning a recruiting and informational booth, which included a static display of the squadron's Cessna 172, cadets and officers assisted aerobatic glider pilot Manfred Radius in the launch and recovery of his H101 Salto
sailplane. Squadron members enjoyed tours of the A-10 Warthog and other military and civilian aircraft. As a special treat, former Florida Wing cadet, Major Marc "Strafe" Himelhoch (USAF) gave a behind-the-scenes tour of the F-16 from the Viper East Demo Team.
